in class, we work on photoshop to learn or in my case remind how to use the very thing. so to make this I created 7 layers, were on each layer using the paint tool and different shades of grey and drew shapes that looked similar to mountains. on the 6th layer, I decided to add an event happening which as you can see involves someone falling off a bridge with a beast ready to eat them. on the 7th layer I only used black and made it look like someone is destroying the beast eggs.
once the layers were all drawn out make layers in between each layer and made a mist effect with white and tyred down the opacity on those layers.
at the end, I made a new layer and used a gradient of reds and change the layers blending to give the seen some sense of danger.
in class, we learn to use more things in photoshop but again this was more a recap for me because I used photoshop before. the proses to make this is really similar to the very first picture but instead of using the brush tool, I used the lasso tool. I also made a new brush so that I wouldn't need to redraw the plants over and over again. also made a brush to make the fog in the picture. finally, I added a read bending onto everything to make it look eerie and dangerous
in class, we watch a video of an artist called Bob Ross (the video).
we followed the video to draw something similar to the painting Bob was painting but we had to do it digitally, in my opinion, this was really easy and fun to do. although if we did actually paint something I don't think it would have looked as good. Similar to the drawing up top I used layers where each layer of trees are located
