HISTORY OF CHARACTERS
Characters Introduced in 1980
A first-ever game that introduced characters was PAC man. The game for the first time gave a character for the player to play along with enemies that the players have to avoid. Along with PAC man, Nintendo released (not known as Nintendo just yet) a handheld console called game & watch which had a character which is now referred to as Mr game & watch.
Although the first game was released in 1958 the first-ever characters surprisingly where only ever introduced in 1980

By now many of our beloved Nintendo characters such a Mario, Luigi, Bowser, princess peach and many more. around this time there was more colour in video games along with more objectives in games.
Characters introduced by 1990
Nintendo released more games with new characters such as the legend of Zelda and mega man, along with more Mario games adding more characters into its universe. by now most games wherein colour and more different popular titles were released such as metal gear with there dark mode and characters and street fighter with there fighter characters.

By now Sega released our one and only blue speedy hedgehog Sonic along with his two-tailed sidekick Tails. The colours became even brighter and the animation became even smoother with streetfighter having more character additions and alongside Mario, including Nintendo release of our pink blob Kirby.

Characters' models are become more realistic and have more variety in looks and race along with improved and more focused on storytelling with more cool mecanics added and unique art styles applied to games. games released persona, dead rising more pokemon, uncharted, BioShock and Assasins Creed

Now the characters are so realistic you could mistake them for real-life people or creatures or that they are from a movie. everything is very pleasing to the eye. games released are overwatch horizon zero dawn and spiderman. quite a few games are being redesigned with some games that where released in form 1990 to 2005 having new games with better looking character
